Krisp provides 3 Microphone volume control options to optimize your audio settings during calls:
- Sync with Krisp
- Lock at optimal level
- Manual control
By default, Krisp syncs volumes between Krisp and your working microphone to simplify volume control during calls.
In this article, we will dive into these 3 options to understand how they work and how you can select the Microphone volume control option.
To select the preferred Microphone volume control option:
- Go to Krisp Preferences >>> Audio.
- Click on the Microphone volume control dropdown.
- Select the preferred option.
This option ensures that changes in microphone volume made in one place are reflected everywhere else.
The Manual control option grants you full and individual control over microphones, including your working microphone and Krisp Microphone.
While this option is suitable for advanced users who require specific volume adjustments for microphones, it’s not recommended for most of users who typically use Krisp for calls and online meetings.
