Recording your meetings with Krisp

This comprehensive guide provides detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to use Krisp for recording meetings, accessing playback sessions, and sharing them with others.

How to record?

Starting a recording: You can choose to start recording and transcribing either before the meeting begins or during the meeting, directly through the Krisp app.
Managing your recording: You can pause the recording and transcription at any point during the meeting.

  Important

You should select both Krisp Microphone and Krisp Speaker in your communication app to ensure a comprehensive capture of the meeting in your transcript and recording.

When you record a Zoom meeting joined via the Krisp app, you can activate a setting in Krisp to inform others that you're recording from your web dashboard settings:

Accessing and sharing your recordings

Accessing recordings: Post-meeting, you can find your transcript and recording on My Meetings page of your account dashboard.

Sharing options: You can opt to share the entire meeting recording and transcript, or you can choose to limit access to only the meeting summary.

Managing access: You can change or remove a specific user’s access through the dropdown next to their email, after clicking Share on your meeting page.

Downloading your recordings

You can download your meeting recordings in MP3 format. This will be helpful in situations where you need to recap on the go or share the details with someone who couldn't attend the meeting.

To download your recording:

  1. Go to a specific meeting that you had transcribed and recorded.
  2. Click on the download button in the upper right corner.
  3. Save your recording file.

Recording storage

Storage capacity: You are provided with 3 GB of storage space for recordings.
Storage monitoring: You can check how much recording space you have left on the left side of your account dashboard.
