Why do these notifications appear?

The "Background Items Added" notification is a feature designed to inform users about background items added by installed applications. While useful, these notifications can become repetitive and constantly steal your attention if not managed properly.

Solutions to manage this notification

  1. Close the notification properly:
When you see the notification, click the "X" icon to close it. Avoid swiping with two fingers from the touchpad as it may not fully acknowledge the closure.
  2. Check login items:
    • Go to Settings >>> General >>> Login items.
    • From Allow in the Backround list, find Krisp and ensure that Krisp is listed only once in the Login items.
If you see multiple entries, remove duplicates by selecting them and clicking the "-" button.
  3. Update macOS:
Make sure your macOS is updated to the latest version, as updates often include fixes for bugs that may be causing these notifications.
