What is Krisp Screen Recording feature?

Krisp Screen Recording feature records your meetings directly from the Krisp app without any bots joining the meeting.

This feature makes it easy to capture important information without switching between multiple applications during a meeting. With this feature, you can:

• Record the entire screen or specific application windows.
• Capture both video and audio in high quality.
• Access and review the recordings on your web account Meetings page.

This feature allows you to revisit key meeting points, making follow-up tasks more efficient.

Grant permission for screen recording on Mac devices

On macOS, apps that record your screen or audio require explicit permission from the user due to privacy and security protocols built into the operating system. Since Krisp captures audio and visual content during your meetings, this access is needed to function properly.

When using the Screen Recording feature for the first time, you will see a banner asking you to grant Krisp access to record your screen and audio.

1. Click on Open System Settings.
2. Toggle on the screen recording permission for Krisp.

Once granted, Krisp will be able to capture your screen and audio seamlessly during meetings, while ensuring your privacy remains protected under macOS guidelines.

How to screen-record your meetings with Krisp?

1. Start your meeting and click the Screen-Recording button from the Krisp app or Widget.

   You will be asked to choose between recording your entire desktop or a specific application window.

2. Grant screen recording consent (if you use macOS).

3. Start recording:  Krisp will indicate that the recording has started in both the widget and the app.

Access your screen recordings after meeting

After your meeting ends, you can access your recorded video in the Meetings page of your Krisp web account.

Once processing is complete, you’ll need to reload the page to view your recording.
