Getting started with Accent Conversion

If you would like to get started with Accent Conversion , reach out to your Account Executive or contact us directly at sales@krisp.ai.

Once activated by our team, the feature becomes available for all users within your team(s), allowing you to manage settings and usage centrally.

As an Admin, you have control over various configurations to tailor the feature to your team’s needs.

  Hint

When agents log in to the Krisp app for the first time, they will either use the pre-configured settings you've set up, or, if no pre-configuration is in place, the default settings will be applied.


Configure Accent Conversion

To configure Accent Conversion settings follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Krisp Admin Portal and navigate to the desired team.
  2. Go to Team settings >>> Features >>> Accent Conversion
  3. Enable Accent Conversion

  4. Choose source accent:
    This setting allows you to choose which accent you want to localize:

  5. Set the Accent Conversion mode
  • Voice Preservation Mode: This mode retains the agent’s natural voice while softening harder-to-understand inflections. It’s ideal for teams that want to maintain individuality in conversations while improving clarity.

  • Voice Profiles Mode: This mode replaces the agent's voice with a pre-configured male or female voice, creating a professional, neutral-sounding tone.

  • User Choice: When you choose this mode, user can easily select Voice Profiles or Voice Preservation mode from Krisp app preferences.

Voice Preservation is the default mode for the feature.

  Important
