You can make noiseless calls using Krisp with Discord. There are two ways to filter the noise in your calls.
Option 1: Set up the Krisp devices in Discord
You will need a simple 2-sided configuration.
- Select Krisp Microphone and/or Speaker to work in Discord. For that, go to User Settings >>> Voice & Video >>> Voice Settings and change the Input/Output device to Krisp.
- In the Krisp settings, pick the physical microphone and/or speaker you wish to use. Make sure that the Remove Noise toggles are turned on.
- Start your noiseless call.
Note: The "Not used" indicator will be switched to "Used by Discord" when there is an ongoing call.
Option 2: Use the embedded version of Krisp in Discord
For this option, you don't need to have the Krisp app installed on your machine. In Discord, go to User Settings >>> Voice & Video >>> Advanced and enable the Noise Suppression toggle.
Keep in mind that this way you will denoise only the voice going to your microphone.
Note: Make sure to use only one of the options. The usage of both might negatively affect your experience by causing an echo or other issues with your voice.
