This guide will help you make sure that Krisp is installed and running on your workstation. You will need this during the first run, to make sure that your device is ready to use with Krisp.
Check if Krisp is running on your device
Once Krisp is installed on your device, it should launch on Windows startup and always be running in the background. So if you have Krisp installed, then it should already be running on your device. Here is how to make sure.
To check if Krisp is currently running on your device, please check your taskbar in Windows lower right corner. You may also need to click on the up arrow there to open all the icons. Check if Krisp's icon is there.
If you can see the Krisp's icon there, it means that Krisp is currently running.
PRO TIP: You can drag the Krisp icon to the icons on the toolbar so it will always be visible for you.
If you cannot see Krisp's icon there, then Krisp is either not running or not installed on your device. If it is not installed, please check the next step.
Check if Krisp is installed on your device
Go to Windows Search and type "Krisp" in the search bar. It should find and show the Krisp app.
If you're able to find Krisp app on your computer, then click on it or hit Enter to launch it.
If you are not able to find Krisp in the Windows Search then most probably it is not installed on your device. You may either need to ask your administrator to install it on your device or you can install it manually (if you have permission for that).
