Sometimes the calling apps may show a notice warning the user to use the same devices for microphone and speaker to avoid echo, despite the fact that both Krisp Microphone and Krisp Speaker are selected. This does not have any additional negative impact on voice quality, but it is annoying to see and may cause confusion.
The issue is visible when the user is using
- Platform: Windows, Mac
- Apps: Google Meet, BlueJeans
The issue is happening because the apps do not recognize the fact that both the Krisp Microphone and Krisp Speaker virtual devices are connected and are originating from the same app.
The issue does not have any additional negative impact on voice quality, but it is annoying to see and may cause confusion. There is currently no workaround to fix this.
