You can mute and unmute the physical microphone used in Krisp directly from the Krisp interface.
Note: Make sure to have Krisp version 1.22.12 or higher on Windows to access the feature.
If you want to mute yourself during a call, click on the microphone button in the Krisp app.
The physical microphone that is used in Krisp at that moment will be muted. The other call participants will stop hearing you.
Hint: The microphone will be muted system-wise. This means if that microphone is used elsewhere at that moment, it will be muted there as well.
Clicking on the microphone button once again will unmute you.
Note: You might not see the mute state change in the communication app interface. Please pay attention to the mute state you see in Krisp.
In specific cases, Krisp can show the microphone as unmuted, but the other call participants will still not hear you. If you face such a problem, please mute yourself from Krisp and then unmute. The problem should be solved.
