Recommended setup in Discord
You can make noiseless calls using Krisp with Discord. There are two ways to filter the noise in your calls.
First, make sure to disable the following default options from User Settings >>> Voice & Video >>> Voice Processing:
- Echo Cancellation
- Noise Reduction
This is done to achieve the best echo and noise cancellation results with Krisp.
To benefit the most from Krisp noise cancellation we recommend disabling Automatically determine input sensitivity option from User Settings >>> Voice & Video >>> Input Sensitivity. After disabling it, adjust the input sensitivity based on your microphone properties:
After that, there are two options to have noise cancellation with Krisp in Discord.
Important
Make sure to use only one of the options. The usage of both might negatively affect your experience by causing an echo or other issues with your voice.

- Select Krisp Microphone and/or Speaker to work in Discord. For that, go to User Settings >>> Voice & Video >>> Voice Settings and change the Input/Output device to Krisp.
- In the Krisp settings, pick the physical microphone and/or speaker you wish to use. Make sure that the Remove Noise toggles are turned on.

Option 2: Use the embedded version of Krisp in Discord
For this option, you don't need to have the Krisp app installed on your machine. In Discord, go to User Settings >>> Voice & Video >>> Advanced and enable the Noise Suppression toggle.
Keep in mind that this way the noise cancelation will work only for the voice going to your microphone.
If for some reason the embedded version of Krisp is missing from your Discord, please go to User Settings >>> Voice & Video >>> Debugging and click on "Reset Voice Settings".
Info
The embedded option is currently unavailable in Discord on M1 Macbooks. We are working on improving the embedded Krisp for that version of Discord.
