Use Voice Isolation with Krisp

This article explains how to use and control Voice Isolation feature on your Krisp version.

What is needed to use the feature?

  1. To be in an enclosed area (contact center, meeting room, office space, indoor cafe, house, etc.).
  2. Connect a headset device compatible with Voice Isolation.
  3. Turn on the Microphone Noise Cancellation toggle in the Krisp app.

Voice Isolation will be automatically activated once you start an online meeting and the icon will indicate its state.

Test Voice Isolation before the call

To have the confidence that other people's voices are filtered out properly, you can test it before the actual call starts. 

Do a Noise Cancellation test. Have another person talk with you in the background. See that their voice is removed along with the background noise.

The noise will still be canceled in your meetings, and the human voice will be kept by Krisp.

Control Voice Isolation for team users

The team admin can decide if the team members should have the option to use the Voice Isolation. The option is enabled by default.

To control the option:

  1. Sign in to your Krisp Admin Portal.
  2. Navigate to Team settings >>> Setup >>> Audio Devices.
  3. Check/uncheck the Enforce Voice Isolation compatible headset when available box.
