Krisp is constantly working to improve its software by adding new features and fixing bugs. Striving to provide our customers with the best experience, Krisp has adopted a lifecycle policy for its versions. Each version of an app has a lifecycle and expires once it reaches its end.
Make sure to always keep your team members’ Krisp app up-to-date to not miss important security updates, bug fixes, and new features, such as:

In this article, we'll explain what End of Support and End of Life mean for Krisp versions.
What is End of Support?
End of support (EOS) is the point at which a specific version of the Krisp app will no longer receive technical support from our Customer Support team.
What is End of Life?
End of Life (EOL) is the point at which a specific version of the Krisp software is no longer supported. This means that Krisp app will no longer work.
If there are 15 days left until the EOL, the Krisp app will log out and show a notification prompting the user to update the Krisp app to the latest version or skip it. After the EOL, the user will receive another notification prompting the user to take action and update the app without any option to skip it. The app should be updated so the user can continue using Krisp app.

InfoKrisp might decide to extend the mentioned dates, but the EOL won't happen earlier than those dates.

Team admins can easily keep track of the app versions on their team by checking the Admin Dashboard. For more info, check out this article.
Get notified about old versions of Krisp within your team
Whenever a significant number of your team members are on old/expired versions, you, as an admin, will see a similar notification on the Analytics page of your Admin Dashboard:
By clicking on the number of team users, you’ll be redirected to the Versions tab, where you can see the list of those users. It is recommended to update those users’ apps to ensure they are always using the most current and supported Krisp version.
