Renaming your Organization and teams in Krisp

As an Admin, you can rename your Krisp Organization and the teams inside it at any time from the Admin Portal. This article covers how to rename your Organization, a team within an Organization, and a standalone team that is not part of an Organization.

Rename your Organization

1. Sign in to your Admin Portal.
2. Open the Home section from the left panel.
3. Under Organization name, click the edit (pencil) icon next to your Organization name.
4. Type the new name in the field, then click the checkmark to save.

Rename a team in your Organization

1. Sign in to your Admin Portal.
2. Go to Directory >>> Teams.
3. Find the team you want to rename and click the View details (i) icon on the right.
4. In the Team details panel, click the edit (pencil) icon next to Name.
5. Type the new name in the field, then click the checkmark to save.

Rename a standalone team

For a team that is not part of an Organization, you can rename it from either the Home section or the Teams section.

From the Home section

1. Sign in to your Admin Portal.
2. Open the Home section from the left panel.
3. Under Team name, click the edit (pencil) icon next to your team name.
4. Type the new name in the field, then click the checkmark to save.

From the Teams section

1. Go to Directory >>> Teams.
2. Click the View details (i) icon for your team.
3. In the Team details panel, click the edit (pencil) icon next to Name.
4. Type the new name in the field, then click the checkmark to save.

The new name applies immediately, and your users will continue to use the updated name.
