Upload and transcribe audio/video files with Krisp

With Krisp, you can transcribe audio or video files you upload directly to your Krisp web account.

  Info

This new feature complements our AI Meeting Assistant, allowing you to transcribe live meetings and generate summaries afterward.

The Upload and Transcribe feature allows you to import one audio or video file at a time for transcription. However, the availability of this feature depends on your Krisp subscription plan:

  • Pro/Business Plan: Upload and transcribe multiple files, depending on your storage capacity.

  • Free Plan: Upload up to 5 files in total (each file up to 1 GB). Once the limit is reached, you can upgrade to continue using the feature.

How to upload audio/video files for transcribing?

This process will guide you through uploading your file and selecting the transcription settings:

  1. Log in to your Krisp web account and go to the Meetings page.
  2. Click the Upload button in the top-right corner of the page to open the upload window.
  3. Select your transcription language from the dropdown list.

      Info

English is the default language for transcribing your imported files. You are free to change it to 9 other supported languages from the list.
  4. Upload your audio or video file by dragging and dropping it into the upload box or by selecting the file from your device.
  5. Once uploaded, the file will be transcribed, and the transcript will be available for you to review and summarize.
