Headset positioning tips for the best Krisp experience

  1. Adjust for comfort: Ensure the headset fits snugly without being too tight.
  2. Position the mic correctly: Place the microphone two finger-widths from the corner of your mouth. To prevent breathing noise and distortion, avoid placing the mic directly in front of your mouth or under your nose.
  3. Align the mic properly: Make sure the front side of the microphone (marked with a colored dot or label) faces your mouth.

Standalone microphone positioning tips for the best Krisp experience

  1. Maintain distance: Keep the mic about 10-20 cm (4-7.5 inches) away from your mouth.
  2. Avoid direct airflow: Place the mic slightly to the side of your mouth to minimize breathing noise.
  3. Use a pop filter (optional): If you’re using a standalone mic for professional calls, a pop filter can further reduce noise and improve clarity.
