This article will help you test Krisp Voice Translation to ensure it’s functioning correctly and delivering the best results.
Whether you’re an Admin preparing for a rollout or an agent fine-tuning your settings, these steps will guide you through the testing process.
Test Voice Translation
Once Voice Translation is set up and enabled for your team, use Krisp’s built-in testing tool to verify how your voice sounds.
-
Go to the Krisp app >>> Click on the Profile badge >>> Select Test Voice Translation.
-
Select the desired language pair and microphone.
-
Click on the Start test call button, then speak 1-2 sentences with your natural voice and pace. If needed, adjust your settings to achieve the best result. Play the recording to evaluate its quality.
If you notice any issues with the test audio, click on Send report, and our team will investigate the case and provide you with the necessary troubleshooting steps.Hint
For the best translation and Noise Cancellation results, we recommend using a headset with a dedicated boom mic.
After testing your voice in Krisp, you may want to try it in a real call simulation to test Voice Translation under real-life conditions:
- Start a test call: Use your preferred communication app (e.g., Dialpad, Avaya, Five9) to make a test call with a colleague or team member.
- Monitor background noise: Add background noise and see that Krisp Noise Cancellation works seamlessly alongside Voice Translation.
You are now ready to shine in real calls!
