Who can use this feature?
Plan: Core, Advanced
User type: Admin (manage storage), all users (view usage and request more storage)
Every Krisp team comes with default storage based on its plan. Admins can expand the team's total storage by purchasing a storage add-on per seat.
Default storage by plan
Default storage is allocated per seat and is dedicated to each User. It isn't pooled or shared across team members.

For example, on the Advanced plan, each User has their own 60 GB of storage. If you've used 50 GB of your 60 GB, the remaining 10 GB stays with you. Your teammates can't use it. If a team member needs more storage, an Admin can purchase a storage add-on.
Storage add-on options
Admins can purchase a storage add-on for the team. The add-on applies to each team member individually and replaces the previous storage amount.

The maximum add-on size is 2 TB.

The add-on is allocated per user, not shared across the team. For instance, if the admin purchases 2 TB, each team member receives their own 2 TB of storage.
View your storage usage
Any team member can check the current account storage usage:
- Open the Krisp app or go to app.krisp.ai
- Click your profile icon at the bottom-left of the side panel
- Click Manage next to Storage.
The Storage page shows how much storage is used, how much remains, and a list of meeting notes with their individual sizes.
Increase your team storage (Admin)
To purchase or expand the storage add-on for your team:
- Open the Krisp app or go to app.krisp.ai
- Click the Settings option on the side panel
- Click Billing
- Under Storage, click Increase storage
- Choose the storage tier you want from the dropdown and apply.
Decrease your team storage (Admin)
Only Admins can decrease the team storage add-on.
- Open the Krisp app or go to app.krisp.ai
- Click your profile icon at the bottom-left of the side panel
- Click Manage next to Storage
- Click Decrease storage.
Important
Payments for storage add-ons are non-refundable. Decreasing your storage does not return any money for the unused portion.
Request additional storage (User)
If you need more storage than your current allocation, you can send a request to your team's Admin:
- Open the Krisp app or go to app.krisp.ai
- Click your profile icon at the bottom-left of the side panel
- Click Manage next to Storage
- In the top-right of the Storage page, click Request more storage
- Choose the storage amount you'd like to request
- Add a comment with the reason for your request
- Click Send request.
When you reach the storage limit (User)
Krisp shows warning notifications as the user approaches and reaches their storage limit:

Over 80% of total storage: User receives a warning that the team storage will be full soon

Over 100% of total storage: User receives a warning that new recordings can no longer be saved. To continue saving recordings, an Admin needs to purchase additional storage or upgrade the existing add-on.
