Suggest a Vocabulary term from the Live Widget

During a Voice Translation call, you can suggest a correction for any word or phrase that was transcribed incorrectly directly from the Live Widget. Your suggestion is sent to your Admin for review. If approved, the term is added to your team's Custom Vocabulary so Voice Translation handles it correctly going forward.

  Important

The Suggest term option appears only when your Admin has enabled Agent contributions for your team. If you do not see it during a call, contact your Admin.

Suggest a term during a call

While you are on a Voice Translation call:

  1. In the Live Widget transcript, select the word or phrase that was transcribed incorrectly.
  2. Click Suggest term in the toolbar that appears above your selection.
  3. The selected term appears in the correction field. In the Add correction field, type the correct term or spelling.
  4. Click the send arrow to submit your suggestion.

 

A Request is sent to Admin confirmation appears once your suggestion is submitted.

What happens after you submit

Your suggestion goes to your Admin as a pending term request. Your Admin reviews each request and either approves or declines it. When a term is approved, it is added to the team's Custom Vocabulary and applied to future Voice Translation calls.   Hint

Suggest a term as soon as you notice it on a call, while the context is fresh. The more specific your correction, the easier it is for your Admin to review and approve.
