During a Voice Translation call, Drop stops the audio for a single translated chunk without turning Voice Translation off. A chunk is one translated speech bubble: the segment Krisp creates when it transcribes a piece of speech and then translates it.
When you drop a chunk, Krisp stops playing the audio for that chunk's translation. The rest of the call keeps translating as usual, so you do not need to disable and re-enable Voice Translation.
Drop a translated chunk
While you are on a Voice Translation call:
- In the Live Widget, find the translated speech bubble (chunk) whose audio you want to stop.
- Select Drop under that speech bubble.
- Krisp stops playing the audio for that chunk's translation. Voice Translation stays on, and the chunks that follow keep translating and playing.
Drop stops only the audio for the chunk you select. The chunk stays visible in the transcript. To stop translating for the rest of the call, turn Voice Translation off instead.
Hint
Drop a chunk when its translation is no longer useful, for example when you have already responded, the customer has moved on, or the chunk was translated from background noise or crosstalk.
