What is Krisp?

Krisp is a noise-cancellation desktop application. It makes your online calls noiseless thus helping you become a better communicator. It removes the noise coming to you from other call participants, and the noise going from you to them.

Besides removing background noise, you can also have Background Voice Cancellation - a feature that allows all background voices to be canceled. This way, only the primary speaker’s voice will be kept while using a headset during online calls. Check the Background Voice Cancellation article for more details.

If you are on Krisp 2.0.0 and above versions, you will also have the opportunity to use Meeting Notes and Transcripts. Krisp AI Meeting Assistant allows you to focus on the conversation without worrying about taking extensive notes. Check the AI Meeting Assistant article for more information about this feature.

For Pro plan users with version 2.30.4 and above, Krisp also offers Recording feature. This feature allows recording your meetings, with easy access and sharing options. All recordings are securely encrypted and stored in the cloud, ensuring the safety and confidentiality of your data. Check the Recording your meetings with Krisp article for more information about this feature.

Krisp works smoothly in real-time, so your calls are uninterrupted and completely noiseless.

Krisp is not intended for post-production use and for removing noise from recorded audio.

Krisp never sends audio data from your machine to its servers. All the processing happens on the local device. Check this article for more information about data storage.
