When signing in with SSO, you might face the following error message “Failed to verify SAML assertion. Please contact Krisp support for assistance”. In these cases, the Support team can require you to capture the SAML assertion and share it with us for further troubleshooting.
See below the instructions on how to capture SAML assertion for different browsers.
Capture SAML assertion for Google Chrome
- Open the Google Chrome browser.
- Add the SAML Chrome Panel extension to your browser from here.
- Go to the Krisp sign-in page: https://account.krisp.ai/login.
- Click the 3-dot button in the upper right corner. Go to More Tools >>> Developer Tools >>> SAML tab.
- Click Sign in with SSO and try logging in to your Krisp account.
- Copy the SAML message payload into any text editor, save the file, upload it to your ticket or attach it to your email so that our Support team can analyze it.
Capture SAML assertion for Mozilla Firefox
- Open the Mozilla Firefox browser.
- Add the SAML tracer extension to the browser from here.
- Go to the Krisp sign-in page: https://account.krisp.ai/login.
- Open the SAML tracer extension icon in the upper right corner.
- Click Sign in with SSO and try logging in to your Krisp account.
- Open the SAML tracer and click on the SAML tab at the bottom.
- The tool will highlight all SAML calls for you so that you can easily select the calls.
- If there is more than one POST message, click on the SAML tab for every POST message and copy these message details.
