Who can use this?
Plan: Call Center AI
Managed from: Admin Portal
User type: Organization and team Admin
This article shows the information you can find on the Devices page of your Admin Portal.
Check this article to see how you can configure a device-login team.
Important
For Organizations, keep the following in mind:
- If a device is blocked in one of the teams under an Organization, it will be blocked for all other teams in that Organization.
- If a device belongs to a team within an Organization, adding a different team's key configuration file will not move it. The device remains in its current team, and you need to move it from one team to another in the Admin Portal.
Devices page
The Devices page has two tabs:
- Deployed devices
- Blocked devices
Let's go over the tabs and see what actions can be completed from each of them.
Manage devices at your team
Here you will see the list of Krisp devices with the following details: hostname, description, last username, team, Krisp app version, setup date, and last call date.
You can filter the deployed devices by these parameters:
- Team
- App version
- Setup date
- Last call
Use the Actions with CSV menu to import or export device information via a CSV file.
By checking the boxes next to the hostnames or bulk selecting them from the checkbox at the top, the team Admin can perform the following actions in bulk:
- Move to team - move the selected device(s) to a different team.
- Remove (remove from seat) - unassign device(s) from a seat. The seat will be freed up to be taken by a different device.
- Block devices - block device(s) from using Krisp with the device-login team account. When you block a device, the dedicated seat becomes unassigned.
- Download CSV - download deployed devices info via a CSV file for your convenience.
To remove devices from a seat in bulk, select them, click the remove (trash) icon, then click Remove to confirm.
Important
Make sure to delete the team_secret.key file from the devices you want to unassign. If the file is still present, a seat will be reassigned to them at their next login.
Hint
Check the billing logic for the team account before adding or removing seats.
Click a device row to open the Device details panel. Here you can view the device's hostname, team, last active date, setup date, and app version, and perform the following actions:
- Groups - add the device to one or more groups.
- Description - add a description for the device, visible only to you. This can be helpful when managing large teams. For example, you can easily differentiate which teammates use an exact device. Click Save to apply your changes.
- Block device - block a certain machine from using Krisp with the device-login team account. When you block a device, the dedicated seat becomes unassigned.
- Move to team - move the device to a different team.
- Remove (remove from seat) - unassign the device from a seat. The seat will be freed up to be taken by a different device. Make sure to delete the team_secret.key file from the device (or block it), otherwise the freed seat will be re-taken at the next login.
Blocked devices
On the Blocked devices tab, you will see devices that were previously blocked by any of the team Admins, along with their hostname, description, team, and blocked date. You can filter this list by Team and Blocked date.
To unblock a device, follow these steps:
- Go to the Blocked devices tab.
- Select the device(s) using the checkbox next to the hostname, then click Unblock device in the bottom bar.
Info
Unblocking a device will not add it back to the deployed devices list. However, if the team_secret.key file is present on that device and the Krisp app is opened, an unassigned seat will be re-taken by that device.
