FAQ about Krisp Recording feature

What are the prerequisites for getting a Meeting recording?

To ensure that your meeting is recorded, it must last at least 2 minutes. We do not capture Notes for calls shorter than that.

Can I record my meeting with Krisp for free?

Krisp Recording feature is a Pro feature. Upgrade your plan to use this feature.

Can I record my meeting without any Bot?

You can record your meeting with Krisp both with and without Bot. You can video-record your meeting with inviting our Bot to your meeting, or audio record it without bot. Check out more about the Krisp Bot in this article.

Can I delete the Meeting recording but keep the Transcription or Notes?

As of now, it is not possible to delete meeting recordings separately. If you delete the meeting, the recording will also be deleted. However, if you only have a recording of the call, you can delete the recording.

How much is the recording storage?

The recording storage is set per workspace per user. You will have 3 GB recording space on Pro plan. You can buy additional storage by clicking manage near the storage icon.

Can I download my recordings?

Yes, you can download your recordings from the meeting transcript page. Check out this article for more info.

Can I permanently disable Recordings of my calls?

To ensure that the Transcription or Recording & Transcription features are disabled for your calls, turn off Note Taker and leave it off at all times.

What if I reach my storage limit while recording a call?

We won't cut the recording during the active call if your storage gets full. The recording will be fully saved in your account. However, you will overpass your limit.

You need to delete old recordings to make the used storage less than 2 GB. Then you will be able to make new recordings.

Where are the recordings kept?

The recordings are kept in the cloud. You can be sure that Krisp keeps them encrypted, safe, and secure. Check out our Privacy Policy for more information.

How long can a recording be?

There is a limitation of 3 hours for a single recording. Once the 3 hours are reached, the recording will automatically be cut.

What will happen to my recordings if I downgrade?

You will still be able to listen to your existing recordings. You can also share them with others. However, you won't be able to make any new recordings unless you upgrade back to the Pro plan.

What will happen to my recordings if my account is removed?

Your recordings will be removed from the cloud along with all of your other data. The action is irreversible.
