What are the prerequisites for getting a meeting recording?
To make sure your meeting is recorded, it must last at least 30 seconds. We don't capture the Recording, Transcript, or Notes for calls shorter than that.
Can I record my meeting without the Bot?
Yes, you can record your meeting with or without the Krisp Bot. Invite the Bot to your meeting to record video, or record audio only without it. Find out more about the Krisp Bot in this article.
Can I delete the meeting recording but keep the Transcript or Notes?
Yes, you can delete only the data you choose from a meeting. When you delete it, Krisp prompts you to keep the Transcript/Notes. Make sure to select the boxes for the data you want to keep.
How much recording storage do I get?
Recording storage is set per user in each workspace. You get 10 GB or 60 GB of recording storage, depending on your subscription plan. To buy additional storage, click Manage next to the storage icon.
Can I download my recordings?
Yes. To download a recording, open the meeting page and click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner.
Can I permanently disable Recordings of my calls?
To disable the Transcription and Recording features for your calls, make sure the Note Taker is turned off before you start your call and stays off throughout.
What if I reach my storage limit while recording a call?
If your storage fills up during an active call, we won't cut the recording. The full recording is saved to your account, but your storage usage will go over your limit.
To make new recordings, you'll need to delete old recordings first.
Where are the recordings kept?
Recordings are kept in the cloud. Krisp keeps them encrypted, safe, and secure. Check out our Privacy Policy for more information.
How long can a recording be?
A single recording can be up to 4 hours long. When a recording reaches 4 hours, it's automatically cut and a new recording starts.
What will happen to my recordings if I downgrade?
You can still listen to and share your existing recordings. However, you won't be able to make new recordings unless you buy more storage.
What will happen to my recordings if my account is removed?
Your recordings are removed from the cloud along with all your other data. This action is irreversible.
