If Krisp becomes unresponsive while using your Mac device during calls, we may ask you to collect a system sample and send it to us for further investigation. This article will guide you through the process of collecting and submitting the sample.
Why Is This Helpful
The sample contains technical details about how Krisp was running at the time of the freeze. This helps our engineering team understand what went wrong and work toward a fix.
🛠️ Steps to Collect the Sample and Report the Issue

Open the Activity Monitor
- Press Command + Space and search for Activity Monitor
- Open it and go to the CPU tab

Find and Sample Krisp
- In the list, search for Krisp
- Double-click on Krisp in the list
- In the window that opens, click Sample
- Once the sample is generated, click Save to store it on your device

Quit Krisp
- Right click on the Krisp icon from the tray
- Click on the Quit Krisp Completely option

Launch Krisp again and Report the Problem
- Launch the Krisp app again
- Click on your Profile icon in the app
- Select Report a problem
- Upload the sample file you saved earlier
- Fill out the report details and click Submit report
