Your setup may have a different set of available languages. The language list you see in the Krisp app is managed by your team's Admin. You can refer to this article to learn more about how you can add or remove languages for your team.

  Important

You cannot switch languages when Voice Translation is active. Please make sure to turn it off before making any adjustments.

Languages in limited beta

Languages marked with an asterisk in the table above are available only through a limited beta program. They need to be enabled for your team before agents can select them. Once enabled, a beta language works in any pair and direction, like every other supported language.

To join a beta program, contact your Krisp Account Executive or Customer Success Manager. After your team is enrolled, the language appears in the Customer language list in the Krisp app.

Cantonese

Requirements:

  • Krisp app version 2.80.12 or higher
  • An executed beta program agreement
  • Cantonese enabled for your team by Krisp.

Cantonese runs on a separate architecture built for the beta program, so it behaves differently from the generally available languages:

  • Sub-processing is hosted in Singapore.
  • Translation latency is slightly higher than for other languages, due to the hosting location.
  • Speech-to-text and text-to-speech data is retained for 30 days.
  • Data is not used for model training.

  Info

If a beta language does not appear in your language list after enrollment, confirm that your app meets the version requirement listed above. If it is still missing, contact us at support@krisp.ai.
