Report a problem about Voice Translation

If you encounter any issues while using Voice Translation, reporting the problem promptly ensures it can be resolved in a timely manner. Keep in mind that a lot of factors (such as original audio quality, overlapping speech, tone of voice, accent, etc.) can play a role in the result you get.

There are two ways to report a problem about Voice Translation, which are described below.

Report with an audio sample

This is the most reliable approach for accurate reporting and consistent reproduction. You can submit a report with an audio sample following the Test Krisp Voice Translation guide.

Audio samples are extremely helpful as they enable us to reproduce the issue by taking into account the speech-related nuances. They are especially useful in the following cases:

• Incorrect translation or interpretation, missing/skipped words, or hallucinations. 
• When background voices are translated with the user's speech. 
• Other cases where context is important.

Report without an audio sample

These reports are useful when you’re facing technical difficulties (for example, Voice Translation doesn’t start, app performance issues, missing settings, etc.). To submit a report without an audio sample, follow the steps below:

• Open the Krisp app, click on the profile icon in the top right, and select Report a problem from the menu.

  

• In the first drop-down, select Having Problems with Voice Translation.
• Make sure to describe the problem in as much detail as possible. 

• Check the Include system information for debugging option before submitting.
