Quick Phrases are ready-made messages your Admin sets up for your team, such as greetings, call closings, and other common responses. Instead of typing a sentence during a call, you pick a phrase and send it. Krisp plays it in your customer's language using Voice Translation, so you can respond quickly and consistently without breaking the flow of the conversation.
Important
The Quick Phrases list is set up and managed by your Admin. You cannot add or edit phrases yourself. If a phrase needs to change or you want a new one added, reach out to your Admin. Admins can find the steps in managing Quick Phrases.
Where to find Quick Phrases
Quick Phrases live in the Live Widget. With Voice Translation active on your call, select Quick Phrases to open the list of phrases your Admin has bookmarked for you.
Send a Quick Phrase
- Select Quick Phrases to see your bookmarked phrases.
- Pick a phrase from the list, or use the search field to find one.
- The phrase opens in the text editor in English. Edit the text if you need to adjust it for the call.
- Select Send to play the phrase in your customer's language.
You type and edit in English, and Krisp plays the phrase to your customer in the target language selected in the app. Any edits you make apply only to that send. The next time you open the same phrase, it returns to its original text.
Hint
If your team has a long list of phrases, use the search field to find the one you need instead of scrolling.
Phrases that include your name
Some phrases include an agent_name placeholder that your Admin added, so the phrase can introduce you by name. The first time you use a phrase with this placeholder, enter your name once in the highlighted field. Krisp remembers it and applies it automatically every time you use a phrase with the placeholder after that.

You can change the saved name whenever you need to. The new name is then applied to every phrase that uses the agent_name placeholder.
