When your Admin turns on Require client information, you need to select a client every time you start Voice Translation. This links each translation session to a specific client for tracking and review.
Select a client to start Voice Translation
- In the Live Widget, open Voice Translation. A Select client ID box appears
- Search for the client by name or ID, then select it from the list
- Click Enable to start Voice Translation.
The selected client pins to the top of the Live Widget for the rest of the call. Depending on how your Admin set up the client list, you'll see either the client name or the client ID and name together.
Important
Voice Translation won't start until you select a client. You can't skip this step or close the box to run Voice Translation without a client.
Where client information appears after the call
Your Admin can see the selected client in the Call history tab in the Admin Portal, as long as the team has Voice Translation Accuracy AutoQA enabled. Agents don't have Admin Portal access, so reach out to your Admin if you need a session traced back to a client. The data is also available in Analytics and can be fetched via the Krisp Portal API.
