Krisp CX Bridge

Who can use this feature?

Plan: Call Center AI
Managed from: Admin Portal
User type: Enabled by Admins, used by Users

Krisp CX Bridge is a browser extension that lets Krisp work reliably with web-based calling applications. It resolves inconsistencies in call start and end statuses, so Krisp can capture accurate call data for performance analytics and call quality monitoring. The extension works alongside the Krisp app and applies to teams using device, email, or SSO login methods.

What Krisp CX Bridge does

The extension acts as a communicator between the calling application and the Krisp app. It detects key call information and sends it to the app. Captured data includes:

  • Call start and call end events
  • Caller ID, Call ID, and Agent information
  • Queue (skill) name.

Call start and end events tell Krisp when to begin and stop capturing data, which enables accurate call summaries, analysis, and performance tracking.

Deployment scenarios

Krisp CX Bridge supports two deployment scenarios, based on where Krisp and the CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) application run:

  • Local mode: Krisp and the CCaaS application run on the same machine
  • Remote mode: Krisp runs on the user's local machine, while the CCaaS application runs in a VDI (virtual desktop) environment.

  Important

Remote mode is available only for teams using email or SSO login methods.

For both scenarios, each user logs in to the Krisp CX Bridge extension to link it to the Krisp desktop app.
