Supporting settings for Noise Cancellation
Audio settings
Noise Cancellation requires Krisp Microphone (agent-side Noise Cancellation) and/or Krisp Speaker (customer-side Noise Cancellation) to be selected as the input/output device in your calling app. To reduce manual work for your agents:
- In the Admin Portal, go to Team settings >>> Setup >>> System Preferences.
- Enable Enforce Krisp Microphone as system default if you're using agent Noise Cancellation.
- Set Krisp Speaker as system default if you're using customer Noise Cancellation. You can enforce the Krisp Speaker or allow users to manually select it as the output device.
Info
If your softphone is browser-based, you also need to select Krisp Microphone as the default device in your browser settings. See Set up browsers with Krisp for more details.
Agent Voice Isolation settings
Using a compatible headset ensures the best Noise Cancellation results. To learn how to configure Agent Voice Isolation for your team and manage per-device states, see:
Keep in mind that Noise Cancellation processes the audio it receives. If the original audio from the headset is poor or the softphone and OS audio settings are misconfigured, cancellation quality will be affected regardless of the settings above.
