Accent Conversion improves the clarity of your speech by reducing accent-related misunderstandings in real time. It allows you to communicate smoothly, confidently, and naturally, ensuring your message is understood clearly the first time.
Accent Conversion limits by plan
Listener-side and speaker-side Accent Conversion are limited to a set number of hours per day, depending on your plan.

How to use Accent Conversion
Important
Krisp currently uses a Universal Accent model, which converts any accent to US English. You don't need to select your accent type before using Accent Conversion.
Before your first call, run a test to hear how Accent Conversion sounds. To do that:

Click the profile icon on the right side of the Krisp tray app, then click Test Accent Conversion.

Start the recording by clicking the microphone icon, and speak for 30 to 40 seconds, as you would on a normal call.

The recording is processed locally. Your audio is never sent to or stored on any cloud or server.

Listen to the converted sample.
Important
If you notice any issues with the conversion quality, or our support team asks for a test report, click Report a problem and include your system information so we can debug the issue.
Turn on Accent Conversion during a call
- Once you join a call, enable the toggles for Convert My Accent and Convert Others' Accent.

Select Krisp Microphone and Krisp Speaker as the audio input and output devices in your calling app. See Set up any app with Krisp.
