Who can use this feature?
Plan: Call Center AI
Managed from: Admin Portal
User type: Admin
Krisp detects operational and security events across your team: voice verification issues, compliance violations, deleted calls, and more. The Notifications tab brings those events into a single inbox in the Admin Portal, so you find out the moment something happens instead of checking Speech Analytics, the Users tab, and Live Monitoring separately.
The Notifications tab has three sections:
- Admin portal notifications: operational and security alerts delivered to the notification inbox in the Admin Portal
- App Notifications: in-app messages your agents see in the Krisp app during calls
- Email: account and provisioning emails sent to your team members.
How Admin Portal notifications work
Subscriptions are team-wide. When an Admin selects an event, every Admin and Analyst on that team receives that alert. There are no per-person subscriptions, so one configuration covers the whole team.
A few things to keep in mind:
- All events are enabled by default.
- Group Admins receive notifications only for the groups they manage.
- Read status is personal. When you open a notification, it is marked as read in your inbox only, and stays unread for everyone else.
- Alerts fire the moment the event is detected. There is no digest or delay.
- Changes to notification settings are recorded in your team's audit log.
Using the notification inbox
The bell icon in the top right corner is available on every page of the Admin Portal. A red dot appears on the icon when you have at least one unread notification.
Click the icon to open your inbox. Use All to see everything, Unreads to see only what you have not opened yet, and Mark all as read to clear the badge.
Clicking a notification does two things: it marks the notification as read for you, and it opens the call or page the alert relates to.
Read notifications are deleted automatically after 6 months. Unread notifications are kept until you open them.
Choosing which alerts your team receives
- In the Admin Portal, go to Settings >>> Team Settings >>> Notifications.
- Open the Admin portal notifications section.
- Turn on Enable admin portal notifications. While this toggle is off, no Admin Portal alerts are delivered to anyone on the team.
- Select the events you want your team to receive.
| Event | Triggered when | Clicking the alert opens |
|---|---|---|
| Deepfake alerts | Krisp detects a potential deepfake voice on a call. | The call where it was detected. If your team does not have Speech Analytics, the Deepfake analytics page. |
| Voice Mismatch alerts | An agent voice verification issue is detected: a possible mismatch, a voice inconsistency, a failed auto-enrollment, or rejected consent. | The call where it was detected. If your team does not have Speech Analytics, the agent's side pane in Directory >>> Users. |
| Compliance alerts | A compliance violation is detected during a call. | The flagged call. |
| Call deletion alerts | A call is deleted. | The Recently deleted page. |
| Not-mapped skills | Agent skills are not mapped to a language. | The Voice Translation tab in Team settings. |
| Custom vocab suggestions | Agents suggest new vocabulary terms that are ready for review. | Call Content >>> Vocabulary. |
| Analytics access requests | A parent organization requests access to your team's analytics. | Team settings >>> Analytics. |
Voice Mismatch alerts are a single subscription covering all four verification sub-events. You cannot subscribe to them individually.
Analytics access requests are always delivered and do not appear as a checkbox, since access requests need a decision from your team.
Events that appear only when a feature is enabled
Each event is tied to a Krisp feature. If the feature is not enabled for your team, the event is not delivered and its checkbox does not appear:
| Event | Appears when your team has |
|---|---|
| Deepfake alerts | Deepfake Detection enabled. |
| Voice Mismatch alerts | Agent Voice Verification enabled. |
| Compliance alerts | Compliance Monitoring enabled. |
| Call deletion alerts | Speech Analytics enabled. |
| Not-mapped skills | Language suggestions enabled. |
| Custom vocab suggestions | Agent contributions enabled. |
| Analytics access requests | Krisp Enterprise Analytics enabled. These alerts are always delivered and have no checkbox. |
Hint
If an event is missing from your list, the related feature is not enabled for your team. Contact your Account Executive to have it turned on.
Getting desktop notifications
In-dashboard alerts arrive whenever the Admin Portal is open. To also receive them as desktop notifications when you are working in another tab, enable web-push in Personal settings.
Web-push is per person, not team-wide, and it is off by default. Each Admin and Analyst enables it for themselves, and your browser needs to allow notifications from the Admin Portal.
Sending alerts to a webhook
The same events can be delivered to an external endpoint, so alerts reach your SIEM or a Microsoft Teams channel without anyone opening the Admin Portal. Webhook delivery is off by default.
- You can add multiple endpoints, each with its own event selection. Webhook events do not inherit from, or affect, the in-dashboard subscriptions above.
- Each endpoint is set up as either a SIEM or a Microsoft Teams URL. SIEM endpoints are signed with a generated secret key.
- Delivery attempts are recorded with a Sent or Failed status and kept for 7 days.
Webhook settings live in Team settings, or under Integrations if your team belongs to an organization.
Hint
For endpoint setup, payload structure, and secret key handling, see Setting up webhook notifications and Webhook signature verification.
App Notifications
App Notifications are shown to your agents inside the Krisp app, not in the Admin Portal. Use Enable app notifications to turn them on or off for the team, then select which ones agents receive.
| Notification | Shown to the agent when |
|---|---|
| Call without Krisp Speaker | A speaker other than Krisp Speaker is selected in the calling app at call start. Using both Krisp Microphone and Krisp Speaker is recommended for the best Echo Cancellation. |
| Call without Krisp Microphone | A microphone other than Krisp Microphone is selected in the calling app at call start. |
| Audio Degradation | Audio quality is affected by high system load. |
Hint
The two device notifications are the fastest way to catch agents who have Krisp installed but are not routing audio through it. If your Krisp usage is lower than expected, leave both enabled.
Email notifications
Use Enable email notifications to control whether Krisp sends account emails to your team members, then select which ones are sent.
| Sent when | |
|---|---|
| User is added via SCIM | A user is provisioned to a team through SCIM, letting them know they have been added. |
| Invitation reminder | A new team member has not accepted their invitation yet. |
Info
Email notifications are separate from the Admin Portal inbox. Turning off email notifications does not affect the alerts you receive in the Admin Portal.
