After Krisp records your meeting, it can summarize the conversation into AI meeting notes, such as key points and action items. You can have every meeting summarized automatically after the call, or summarize a meeting yourself from its meeting page.
How to summarize meeting notes automatically
- Go to Settings >>> AI Note Taker.
- Turn on Automatically summarize meeting notes.
After each call ends, Krisp generates the meeting notes in your default template.

How to summarize a meeting manually
- Open the meeting you want to summarize.
- Click the arrow next to AI Notes.
- Select a template from the list.
Krisp summarizes the meeting in the selected template.

To view the notes in a different template, repeat the steps above and select another template. Krisp regenerates the meeting notes in that template.
How to personalize your meeting notes
You can tell Krisp how to refer to you and share some details about yourself, so your AI summaries are more relevant.
- Go to Settings >>> Personalization.
- Under Choose your preferred pronoun, select how you want to be described in AI summaries and notes.
- Under About, fill in any of the following:
- Nickname
- Occupation
- More about you: interests, values, or preferences to keep in mind (up to 240 characters)
Your changes save automatically as you type and apply to meeting notes generated afterwards.
How to share meeting notes automatically
Krisp can email a meeting recap to invitees and give them access to the meeting notes.
- Go to Settings >>> AI Note Taker.
- Under Sharing >>> Auto-share Meeting Notes, select one of the following options:
- All meeting invitees
- Only Team invitees
- Manually send recap
