Who can face this issue?
Plan: Call Center AI
Platform: Windows, macOS
Managed from: Admin Portal
User type: Admin, user
In a device-login team, Admins deploy Krisp across an organization's devices using a shared key.config file, so users do not sign in individually. If Krisp cannot activate on a device, the app shows one of the screens below instead of the normal Krisp window. This article explains what each screen means and how to resolve it. Most fixes are handled by the team Admin.
For setup steps, see Configure Krisp device-login team.
Krisp opens to the Get Started screen
If Krisp opens to the Get Started screen, the device-login team is not configured on that device, or the key.config file is missing.
Check that the device has the correct key.config file for your Krisp team, as shown in this section. If the file is missing, contact your team Admin to configure Krisp on the device. Once that is done, quit Krisp and start it again.
License configuration is not valid
This screen means Krisp could not connect to its backend to validate the key.config file. It usually indicates that Krisp's domains are blocked on your network.
Make sure the Krisp domains are allowed in your firewall or proxy settings. If you are unsure, share this with your network Admin. Once the domains are allowed, quit Krisp and start it again.
The specified team is not found
This screen means one of two things:
- The key.config file is incorrect and does not match any existing team.
- The team you belonged to has been deleted by the team Admin.
Contact your team Admin to check the key.config file and confirm the team still exists. Once the file is corrected, click Try again to enter your team.
The team you are trying to sign in to has no available seats
This screen means there are no unassigned seats in your team, or the team has reached its seat limit. Contact your team Admin to add a seat or raise the seat limit. Once that is done, click Try again to join the team.
Your device has been blocked by the team administrator
This screen means your current device has been blocked from using the device-login team.
If you believe your device should be unblocked, contact your team Admin to request it. Once your device is unblocked, click Try again to rejoin the team.
Hint
If none of the steps above resolve the issue, submit a report so our team can investigate. On the error screen, open the three-dot menu (⋮) and select Report a problem. This sends the relevant logs to Krisp for review. You can also reach us at support@krisp.ai.
